There are very few ranks within Echelon, most of its members are considered to be equal regardless of time served, while many of its figure heads have mere titles of office. In Ivor's experience an overly intricate chain of command can become a bureaucratic nightmare, and a liability on the field. At its most basic structure:
Lord Commander
Commander
Sergeant
Soldier
Badges of Honor are awarded to individuals or squads that performed a heroic feat or task, while they may seperate an individual by merit of skill (or luck) they are not indicators of increased rank, although many of the soldiers are quick to look to their badged brethren in the heat of battle.
