Ironclaw (formally Castle Ironclaw, and also known as Wyrmhall) is the suspended gothic-industrial fortress-city of House Irungarten in the western Farseas. Positioned directly atop Osrinrelle — the West Gate of Oghrann leading into The Spirit Road — Ironclaw served for generations as the towering beacon and extraction citadel of the fraternity of four before suffering catastrophic structural collapse at the climax of The Iron Garden arc.

Architecture Before the Collapse

Before the etheric bomb detonation and structural failure, Ironclaw rose above the mutated Black Fields in a skeletal web of steel, stone, and ironwood superstructure crowned by a gleaming arcane lighthouse spire and Tycho Irungarten's thirty-story observation tower.

Beneath its foundations lie:

  • Osrinrelle: One of the three Spirit Road Gates of Oghrann.
  • The Grey-Silver Brine Arrays: The elemental battery vats where Hydracephelate is distilled.
  • The Irungarten Pod-Vats: Where Papa Croakus is held hostage and where, according to Thorn, the essence of the vanished Coralheart Matriarch is imprisoned.

Following its partial collapse, Doctor Mysrim has led salvage crews through the shattered upper levels of Ironclaw to recover vital Irungarten research and construct cores.
