Thorn

Thorn (House Kropus)

Thorn is the bastard son of Hiren Kropus and half-brother to the late Lucien Kropus. A half-elven privateer and veteran wanderer of the Sea of Fallen Stars, Thorn spent over twenty years surviving cosmic and astral voyages before returning to Cormyr.

Background & Return

Following Lucien's death (~1498–1500 DR), Carcenjo Foxmantle II spent substantial coin tracking down Thorn to serve as a legal golden ticket to claim the Kropus methane empire. However, Thorn is far from a pliable puppet—he is a battle-hardened Level 18 veteran (Rogue 6 / Cleric 6 / Druid 6) who gleefully exploits Foxmantle's bottomless credit line to acquire expedition supplies.

Rather than serving Foxmantle's commercial interests, Thorn has slipped his handlers in the city, using the chaos at Pollo's Potions to slip out toward the Farseas Swamps to investigate Lucien's death and reclaim his family's legacy on his own terms.
