Spirit Coins
Spirit Coins
The Spirit Coins are ancient, heavy ritual medallions stamped ages past to seal the sacred covenant between House Osrin and the Swamp Gods of the Farseas. Each coin bears the living likeness of bound figures and mythic archetypes cast in weathered bronze, silver, and bog-iron, resting beneath the sacred waters and temple altars of the marsh.
Origins of the Pact
When Eleanor Osrin fled Thay and established her humanitarian network of sanctuaries, way-stations, and Kelemvorian shrines across the Farseas, she did not conquer the marsh — she covenanted with its oldest powers. Together with the monastic orders of The Siv, the Osrins struck the Spirit Coins as tangible tokens of spiritual passage and mutual obligation between mortal stewards and the Swamp Gods.

Toll of the Spirit Road
To walk The Spirit Road — the ethereal highway linking the sunken gates of Oghrann (Osrinro, Osrinray, and Ironclaw) — a traveler must present:
- The sacred hand sign of the covenant,
- A Channel Divinity invocation, and
- A Spirit Coin offering collected by The Siv gatekeepers on behalf of the Swamp Pantheon.
Without a legitimate Spirit Coin, the ethereal mists reject the traveler or expose them to the predations of the Church of the Silverwing Serpent and the soul-storms beneath Silverpool.
