Ayida-Mist

Ayida-Mist (Ayida-Aub)

Ayida-Mist — Goddess of Dawn Mists, Rainfall, and Balance

Ayida-Mist (also known in older high-marsh dialects as Ayida-Aub) is the goddess of rainfall, dawn renewal, and ecological balance in the Swamp Gods pantheon. She appears in the sky at the transition between night and dawn, trailing luminous mist-spirits and cool, cleansing rain across the canopy of the Farseas.

Domain and Worship

  • Domains: Rainfall, Renewal, Balance
  • Sacred Watch: Dawn
  • Worshippers: Weather-watchers, druids, The Siv, and agriculturalists of Threetrees

Ayida-Mist refreshes the stagnant waters of the marsh, washes away toxic spores and industrial runoff, and maintains the delicate equilibrium of the Farseas ecosystem. Since the industrial expansion of House Irungarten and the spread of The Black Tar, prayers to Ayida-Mist for cleansing rain have grown ever more urgent.

Spells Granted (Guardian's Grimoire)

Clerics and mist-weavers of Ayida-Mist invoke the following spells from the Guardian's Grimoire:

  1. Control Weather (Level 8): Summons cleansing downpours, parts toxic clouds, conjures silver dawn fogs, or calls down tempests to restore balance to the marsh.
  2. Fog of Concealment (Level 2): Blankets the caster and their allies in a shimmering dawn mist that obscures all sight.
  3. Calm Waters (Level 1): Stills flood-swollen channels and rain-lashed pools across the swamp.
  4. Guidance of the Swamp Gods (Level 6): Communes with Ayida-Mist to read weather omens and detect imbalances in the swamp's natural order.
