The high-stakes Level 16 Vanguard kicked off the Vyrdisyang campaign high in the freezing peaks of the Stormhorns, defending the frontline trauma hospital M.A.S.H. (Medical Action Stormhorns) under the command of War Cleric Andric DeVross.

The Dead Lake Crash-Landing

After a malfunctioning military teleportation circle flings Andric across the mountain sky, he crashes into an alpine lake choked with submerged wartime casualties. The fallen soldiers' bodies have been co-opted by bioluminescent mycelial tendrils under the growing will of Eadaz (known as Migma).

Frontline Defense & Krusht Siege Cannons

Regrouping inside M.A.S.H. with his frontline cohort—the cybernetic prototype Anvil, the deceptive Great Old One warlock Cifer Nachash, and the minotaur powerhouse Stompah—the party repels a brutal artillery bombardment orchestrated by warlord Krusht. Sifting through the debris of the artillery battery, Cifer discovers that Krusht's siege is being bankrolled with gold from Manshoon and the Zhentarim.
